The ending was the best part. Standing at the cross roads he finally had control of his life & where he wanted to go.

Lemme guess, you wanted the movie wrapped up with a nice red bow, right? You know...he gets back with is long lost girlfriend, they have a family & live happily ever after.

Actually, I too liked the crossroads part. It was the part of the girlfriend that I couldn't stand. Because the movie was, rightly, focused on him, and his life on the island, I found I just didn't care about the relationship any more.

As I said, some parts of the movie were good, but after he was rescued, I found myself just not caring. If maybe they had spent more time, during the middle letting us get to know the girlfriend maybe it would have been different, but I was just so bored at the end.
