A Bolivian Journalist, Mr Eduardo Ascarrunz, has claimed that Buzz Aldrin, the second man to walk on moon, confided in him that a UFO followed the astronauts on the Apollo XI mission.
Aldrin allegedly told the journalist that 'The significance of July 20 1969 is not that man's feet touched the lunar surface but that on that day we realised that humans share the universe with other intelligent beings'. NASA is said to have gone to considerable efforts to cover up this UFO event.
Aldrin is said to have made the comments regarding his UFO experience on one of a number of trips he made to Bolivia. His interest in Bolivia stemmed from the fact that while in space he saw a flash of light that he believed came from the salt-beds of the Salar De Uyuni lithium mines: The largest lithium deposits in the world.
Aldrin is also believed to have had meetings with Andean tribal wise men regarding traditions of ancient extraterrestrial encounters during his trips to Bolivia.

You know, his feet have been on the moon. He and a few others are the only humans in all of history to have done it and experienced it. We don’t even know what the gravity felt like there, let alone what the earth looked like to them or the stars in space, or the desolation around them. If he says he saw something while there, there is literally hardly a human on earth who has the credibility to nay-say him.
If he made a specific observation of something, then he is more than qualified to make it. I am not saying he is right, just that we, who have never been in space, can’t say he is wrong either.
You knew he was lying how...the use of ad hominems to attack such people who promote such ideas? Not trying to be critical, but did the man’s lecture feature a number of items that seemed self contradictory on their face? Did you detect a lot of underlying anxiety when the ET subject was broached? What seemed to be the witness of the Spirit?

IIRC, It was more than a year ago . . .
He made a derisive, snide sort of comment in his lecture referring to UFO’s. I forget specifically what.
Then when kids or others asked him about UFO’s during the Q & A . . . he was very stilted, poor nonverbals, evasive and derisive AND gave verbatim the party line very tersely. It seemed like he was uncomfortable with the topic and . . . irritated by it somehow.
He tried to make light of it but his nonverbals and tone just were not congruent, to me.

I never heard the term Hawk Hill. The description of Nha Trang in the articles seems to be counting in the facts and figures of Cam Rhan Bay. Some events in the description compressed time in that things from 1967 were blended into the 1966 description. I was in Nha Trang and Hon Tre Island from 2/66 - 6/68. RADAR did track unknown objects and my missiles tracked unknown objects. and some other interesting physics defying actions.

In any case, the time when this will be common knowledge and dreadfully so is racing toward us.
Well, there is fact, and there is speculation. Fact is, these things, whatever they are, have been recorded throughout history, even in cave drawings.
So, the ridicule really shouldn’t be directed at acknowledging that there is an unknown, aerial phenomenon of long standing, that has come to be viewed as being some form of vehicle. They’re there, whatever they are, even in religious paintings, a few of them Christian.
Where things go off the rails, is attributing the phenomenon to presumed, extraterrestrial life forms.
Recognize this, and the topic can be debated and discussed without wild accusations of anyone being a nut, or dark insinuations of there being some grand conspiracy.
There’s never been anything to this, as Aldrin (and the transcripts) have revealed.
I remember some of the exclamations before they started delaying the live broadcasts . . .
Not necessarily Aldrin’s but some of the early flights.
I wouldn’t trust the transcript per se.
IIRC, Aldrin himself has been fickle . . . disclosing here and there with confidants and then denying.
