I am not claiming the Bible is literal. That onus is on the claimant. If one says the Bible is to be taken literally, then the person MAKING THE CLAIM must therefore have read the Bible in its original languages, else it is just sophistry. Who on this thread claimed that the Bible is literal, or must be read literally? I didn't see anyone but you raise the issue.
Why are you addressing a topic no one but yourself brought up?
