LUBBOCK, Texas -- Texas Tech has fired football coach Mike Leach.
The school handed a termination letter to Leach's attorney, Ted Liggett, on Wednesday just before the two sides were to appear in a Lubbock, Texas, courtroom for a hearing on the coach's suspension.
Liggett says the letter says Leach is "terminated with cause effective immediately."

I just watched the lying, money taking Craig James on ESPN whining about his spoiled brat kid. I hope both suffer immensly from this. Craig James is nothing more than an overbearing obnoxious father and it shows.
The puke James was just on the Nebraska game trying to play all nice and innocent. I want to watch Nebraska, but not with James there. Even one of the announcers turned away from him in disgust.

As an Auburn alum and huge fan, it would be odd to see Tuberville anywhere else. However, Tuberville is a good guy and any program is lucky to get him!

Making a lazy kid sit in a media room by himself is hazing? No wonder we lost the last election, if our side keeps buying exactly what the MSM says.

Tech might have all that stuff, but what respectable coach is going to want to work for that idiot AD who hires and gives extensions to people he doesnt like, then tries to fire them?

As a recent graduate of Tech, the AD has a god complex and is a backstabber.
And football can transcend into other arenas, such as practices of how public schools hire and release their employees.
What spots are on his record?
Researching pirates? Graduating his players?
To get away from the liberal hellholes of Dallas, Houston, Beaumont, San Antonio, Austin, El Paso and the hostile border towns.
Just got back from Lubbock from my son’s basketball tournament. The local media and Raider Nation are going nuts. Everyone, and I mean everyone is canceling season tickets today.

Well it is a shame but who can blame them? Who wants to go watch some liberal namby pamby who has to wipe off the cushions before the team can sit down?
The increase in the enrollment at Texas Tech most likely has something to do with the Top 10% Rule and the fact that the University of Texas at Austin turns away half the in-state students that apply to UT.
