Ivana Trump removed from plane by deputies

Ivana Trump, the first ex-wife of billionaire Donald Trump, was escorted by sheriff's deputies off a flight Saturday afternoon at Palm Beach International Airport after she screamed and cursed at children, authorities said.

Trump, 60, of Palm Beach, was seated in first class and apparently became irate because children were running up and down the aisle and screaming, Palm Beach County sheriff's officials said.

YOU have every right to speak! Stop that timid stuff. If a child is alone in a store, you simply ask them where their parents are...then you go find their parents and let them know that it is unsafe to let their kids rome around in this day and age--they could easily be stolen and to take better care of them (because you were concerned for their safety) ---a parent cannot charge you with anything for being concerned for their child's safety. If the parent is right there, you say, "And your Mommy's WATCHING you act like this?" Then, promptly tell her that her child's behavior is unacceptable. If she gets upset with you, then ask her if this is what she wants to be teaching her child, because are learning how to act when they are adults by watching her as she handles this situation. Tell her she may wish to ponder that concept a bit longer AFTER she and her child LEAVE the store.

Do not take crap anymore. There are polite ways to handle things. Think about a few of them before you leave your house, because when confronted with the problem, you'll wish you said more, or may not say it correctly. DON'T get mad. Get your point across. (Think Ann Coulter - it won't come out that way, but you'll be succinct ;-)

I’m with you 100% I remember first-class flight on which rowdy children of off-duty flight attendant ran wild while on-duty attendants chatted with their colleague. It was not very pleasant.

I saw her on TV the other day after the incident, and I wouldnt have known who she was. Plastic surgery has destroyed her face.

I have no problem with her asking the kids to be quiet. my only thought is that if it were any ordinary citizen , would we have been turned loose so soon, without bail?

Nothing against you first-class elites but I’d say that Ivana would have been equally justified if she’d been riding in coach (with me)!

Hey, it’s crowded back there and more stressed. I don’t think a civilized environment should be an extra reserved for first class.

Somebody should remove the (non)attending adults — if there were any — and also the cabin crew who should have addressed the problem before Ivana had to. Then the little monsters should be put on the no-fly list for a couple of years.

I tried that in one situation, Nordy. The grandmother let the child scream t/o the store - didn’t phase her. People were *ticked* and store management wasn’t doing squat. I finally walked up to the woman and shared in a loud voice (to be heard over the child) that she should quiet the child ... to which the grandmother pinched the little child and said to scream louder. Then she laughed.

On one hand, if you’re going to yell F-bombs at the other passengers’ kids, the flight crew and the deputies, you’re probably going off the plane in cuffs.

On the other hand...an airplane aisle is not a playground.

Sorry. I'm on Ivana's side. I don't even think the airline should allow kids to annoy adults in coach. I think that parents should be required to post a bond for each crumb-cruncher that flies that would be used to reimburse travelers inconvenienced by children whose parents refuse to control them. In First Class this is inexcusable.

I just can’t help but feel sorry for her in this case. There have been so many times I’ve wanted to do that exact same thing to the parents who let their kids act that way in public.

I agree. Perhaps the parents and their ill-mannered little squelps should have been removed instead.

Ah, for the good old days of flight.
The stewardesses were always gorgeous, citizens could carry weapons, and all was well.
About the time they started restricting weapons, people decided they wanted to go to Cuba and the whole plane went with a person trying to stop the fleer likely to get in more trouble for attempting to stop him.
Then the stewardesses became flight attendants and age and weight restrictions were considered discriminatory.
And the rest is history while a handful of people with box cutters were allowed to commandeer airplanes while the sheeple just sat there, thinking every thing was fine...
