While some would alarm all-around abating a theory, others would alarm it a accurate set of facts. Opinions alter vehemently. Let us accede all-around abating to be both a apriorism that the ambiance of the apple as we apperceive it is slowly, but actual absolutely accretion in all-embracing air and baptize temperature, and a affiance that if whatever is causing this trend is not disconnected or challenged activity on apple will dynamically be affected.

Went to the early service and at midnight will kiss my husband and toast the New Year.

(Hmmmn. Robt notes the picture of the “harmless bare teddy” is just above quote about kissing husbands on New Year’s Eve.... Wonders if there’s a connection somewhere for bare bears.)

OK, Thanks. Lighting up now.

I will not however be putting my wood stoves out, so if you hear this big boom from Eastern Ontario after 8:55 Spanish time, it was my house.

Dragons. Most likely the direct results of people finding TRex and Triceratops skulls in the ground ...

Exhausts. Vents. Hot gasses. Purge paths. Relief valves. Directional flow control..... (EPA NOx restrictions and noxious permits, probably would also need a few DOT hazmat registration squares on both sides.)

Ya want them there hot gasses coming out the front (best directional control, best observational feedback and targeting data) or the rear (valves, exhaust ports, and internal piping are already connected, but the tail might be in the way at certain targeting angles.

"... probably would also need a few DOT hazmat registration squares on both sides."

These dragons might object to some dweeb from DOT trying to paste a placard on their ticklish ribs.

Most likely result, one charbroiled dweeb, collapsing to ashen rubbish piles.

The dragons for my story are a proud race. To establish communication, a ritual trial by fire is required.

The ritual is required. Personal survival is not.

So, the first contact and first ambassador sent to them are not seen or heard from again yet they open diplomatic channels?
Fascinating.

So far it has been filled with waffles and bacon with fresh coffee.

Those are good things. :)

Actual first contact and first ambassador would make a good story by itself, or at least a good introductory chapter.

Imagine settling on a world inhabited by a ruling class of dragons, bigger than elephants, who were able to breathe fire and fly anywhere.

Initial contact would likely be less than pacific or communicative.

The juveniles are especially rancorous. They are still trying to prove themselves, and they require protein for their growth.

I only make waffles when I can show off my home made recipe for them. The melt in your mouth.

But yah...those are GOOD things!!

(I’m not sure that first sentence is constructed right, but my brain isn’t working right for some reason.)

My story starts about eight hundred years after humans (or what passes for them), have settled on the Dragon’s planet.

The early history is chaotic and difficult. The remaining humans lose much of their technology before coming to a more peaceful accord with the dragons.

I pick up the relationship between them after most of the discord has been resolved, but stupidity can still get you killed if you insist on it.

The people are rediscovering the ability to travel between stars, and other adventures await those who do so.

It’s the technology of swords, and the equivalent of magic, and of course, there are these dragons.

But on this world, they are learning to get along ...

Hmmmn.

(Robt senses that the storied dragons would not consent to DOT HazMat squares being stapled, folded, bent or mutilated (welded or railroad spikes OK among the juveniles?) upon their flanks, bottoms, or buttocks.... Much less the obviously mandatory little orange traffic triangles being tied to their tails before they can enter a roadway.

But a personalized license plate and weight certificate might be cool.

Heroine with a nerd juvenile dragon? -> a “smart” juvenile that wants to rebel against the traditional-rebelling-against-authority the other juveniles want to do?

I’m trying to picture a juvenile dragon trying to grow up and exercise/ train to fight with old wepons/fight with modern weapons/learn/experiment with blowing fire (out both ends)/fly/think/program computers/use cell phones and data implants/learn languages while stuffed inside a spaceship for several months.....

Juveniles tend to go for that bizarre puncture additions thing for display purposes, usually an attempt to appear ‘unique’.
So possibly some odd placards could be misappropriated by juvenile dragons for this purpose.
Side story?
