I know someone very trustworthy, who, with his wife, said he saw one here in Alabama. Game wardens will scoff at that, but I tend to believe this person.

I found one big ass paw print this fall. (Jackson county) I don’t know cougar tracks but it sure looked like one big kitty track.

When I read the title I thought it was an article about hot chicks in their 40s & 50s. Oh well I guess I been so bummed about last nights gvt takeover that I’m not thinking straight.

I’m sure there are. There are lots of single women looking for some young buck and young guys looking for a good time with someone with more money. And if the cougar is old enough, there’s no chance of pregnancy.

As long as they don’t bother my family and our relatives this July in Grand Haven at the beach I’m ok with them trolling the fields inland for some food....

DNR says it has yet to see proof

Never wait for the Michigan DNR to confirm something they don't want to admit. And if you were thinking of shooting cougars that are a danger to you, your family or livestock, the DNR will arrest you for killing an endangered animal.

There was one shot here in Northwest Il. a couple of years
ago. I thought I had seen one in South central Io. in ‘93
and couldn't believe it myself. Later I asked an Io. DNR
officer about it and he said that I wasn't the only one,
that that area was part of a woodsy corridor that had a lot
of formerly more Northerly animals in it.

I actually heard once (PBS I think) that cougars, elk, and
other animals were moving South because of global warming.
SOUTH!?

The DNR is so pathetically stupid that they could not find their a$$ with both hands. They just deny anything controversial. We have had cougar tracks in Okemos, MI and they continue to deny it. They are a total state government waist.
