I am very curious to see what other freepers think. It is a very scary time for America, and it isn't my intention to foster fear. But I think its a good exercise in strategic scenarios to prepare ourselves for the worst, and then look at ways to possibly prevent the worst from happening.

IMO, there are 59 other traitors, not including zero.

Obamacare? Another New World Order oxymoron. The 2009 version of Reagan's "Scariest Words You Could Ever Hear":
'Hi we're from the government and we're here to help you.'"

Let's quit calling it Obamacare and come with a more descriptive word bite. Something like...

Obamascare

Obamawaste

Obamawreck

Obamaruin

Obamanuke

Obamaraze

The Obamanation of desolation (and put a rap beat on it)

Obamaravage

Obamapulverize

Obamadisintegrate

Obaomba the nation

Obaomba America

1. Constitutionality challenged.

That’s correct. One of the national groups is already planning a suit. Can’t remember which one, off hand. They’ll be looking for an injured client - someone with ‘standing’ to take before a court. It’ll be a long process, but hopefully most of the legislation can be stayed while the courts get into the act.

You missed a huge tool of the Marxist playbook, the control of food. It will be used to subjugate those who show spine.

My doctor has already said the minute it is signed into law he is retiring. He also says that many of his peers will also quit. Since he is over 55 and most of his peers are the same they can afford to.

I do not think it will lead to civil unrest. All it will lead to is looooooooooong lines. The Hope and Change people will not do anything on their own, just sit back and take it.

I wish I could say I have faith in SCOTUS to overturn this, but I don’t.

Will Texas (and whoever else) follow through and secede from the union on the grounds that the federal government has broken its limited-government constitutional agreement with the states, freeing the states from a binding contract?

"I think it is time for a million man Tar and Feathers party in DC."

April 15th. Go to hand in your Tax payment (or notice of NON payment) to the IRS. Million man march?

Make it FIVE MILLION.

"Can you hear us now?"

That’s a great question. I’m sure those drums will start beating even louder in Texas, esp. since they are one of the states with the sovereignty resolution.

We’re not going to run out of doctors and nurses.

These folks are going to be like a lot of tenured teachers what cannot write a complete sentence.

There is going to be a lot of fat minority women that come from minority colleges that cannot even write their freakin’ names. It’s going to be like government hires. It’s going to be quotas and PC bs. They will have job security like so many of the worthless tenured government employeed union teachers.

Just imagine this wanting to operate on one of your loved ones.

I don’t believe it will be like the car fiasco or Katrina. Hospitals have been facing their own Katrina for a long time through illegal immigrants and cuts in the socialized medicine programs that CMS provides. People (legal or not) are already entitled to emergency medical care through EMTALA.
I see more of the less obvious occurring such as physicians retiring earlier than planned, more physicians not accepting CMS (including Medicare)to try and free themselves of the government, more insurance companies closing shop, the need to import foreign physicians who are more the willing to accept this universal care crap, more of the highly qualified students not choosing medicine and more of the less qualified choosing medicine, and as this proposed crapola plan progresses...a huge split in health care between the most wealthy and the rest through emergence of private healthcare system (doesn’t take government minions) and a public system (takes government minions)

And hopefully the tax increase needed to fund this disaster will be held off or up while the whole thing is in the court system. Which leads to the next question; if the taxation part is delayed 2 - 4 years for court cases, does that mean the benefit part is delayed even further into the future, or do they start at the same time? Oops, there goes the savings!
