There have been many great, and not so great, Freepers in the last decade. Tell me who are your favorites and why?

All of those who stood at 34th and Mass Avenue telling Albert the Goron to "Get out of Cheney's house".
Especially my brother, Jimmy Valentine's Brother, who dressed up as Al Gore the Grinch and proclaimed that Gore would not steal the election.
Made the front page of the Umbwibwi Times too!

Probably a three way tie: Viking2002, Nathan Bedford and Pissant. ExTexasRedhead sends me some funny jokes, Jim Robinson for starting the whole sheebang and a multitude of others...

Jim Robinson because without him none of us would be Freepers. Then comes my next number one: Brads Gramma. She has done wonders for so many.
Merry Christmas to them and to ALL Freepers for their love of country, people, babies and their God.

2nd Division Vet, FromLori, and Quix come immediately to mind for their dedicated production of posts of extreme value and interest.

What about the funniest Freeper?
This place is hysterical sometimes. So many smart, funny, roll on the floor comments.
I love it when some Freeper’s comment just skewers the leftist liars, wussies and wimps.

Most Legendary: BUCKHEAD — Jeeze, folks :)
And I am most grateful to bootyist-monk since it was a reply of his quoted on Snopes that brought me to FR lo those many years ago.

Historymatters. May God bless his soul.
tigerseye - a wonderfully intuitive understanding of the big picture. Sometimes posts are so nicely said that I re-read them for the reading of them.
Nyer - keeps focused on what really matters, which I often fail to do both here and in the world outside FR.
Cindy - exhaustive in researching and posts the entire topic for you in one fell swoop so that you don't have to research it.
Another freeper for his funny posts, and darn it, I cannot recall his freeper name right now, but coming here to laugh is a big part of what makes this a great place.

Behind that, many, many come to mind that are all great in my eyes:
Joanie-f, Noumenon, Travis McGee, Lurker, Eaker, Betty boop, LS, Badray, Brad's Gramma, Neil E. Wright, dcwusmc, AuntB; Grampa Dave; Superluminal, Chapita, M Kehoe, milehi, Alamo-Girl, Luis Gonzales, JohnHuang2, A Navy Vet, Dubya, meadsjn, The Shrew, mudboy Slim, SamAdams76, Iron Jack, Mississippi Man, Doug Fiedore, Always a Marine, griffin, marobe, Jack Black, doubletap, Philman_36, blam, norse wood, big ern, Republic, humble gunner, amom, davidosborne, etc.
... to name quite a few, but not nearly all.

First off, nw_arizona_granny for years of fascinating posts and interesting links. Secondly, many thanks to velveeta for keeping the Threat Matrix Messagethread alive. Thirdly, I'd select the threesome of blam, muawiyah, & sunkenciv for all the history, genealogy, archeology and science they have discussed in so many interesting threads in so many interesting ways.
