Tiger Woods Admitted to Hospital as OD Posted Dec 8th 2009 1:00AM by TMZ Staff
Tiger Woods was admitted to Health Central Hospital the day after Thanksgiving as an overdose.
Sources connected with the hospital tell TMZ the admissions chart lists "OD" and that he was having trouble breathing.
We're told the fifth floor of the hospital was put on lockdown when Tiger arrived. Tiger was admitted under an alias -- William Smith. His wife, Elin Nordegren was by his side.
As we first reported, Elin gave paramedics two pill bottles at the accident scene -- we now know the prescriptions were for Ambien and Vicodin. Tiger was in and out of consciousness, snoring at the scene, and our sources say he clearly appeared to be under the influence of something -- not alcohol.
We're also told doctors used a breathing tube to assist his respiration.
We're also told hospital officials changed Tiger's alias after a few hours to another alias because they feared people would find out he was there.
Last read, it’s up to 10, two with milti-million $$$ deals.
In retrospect, giving him the alias "Michael Jackson" was probably not well thought out.

A third potential alias -- "John Daly" -- was discarded when it was learned that a fellow by that name had already been admitted for identical symptoms (including a golf club stuck in his cranium) earlier that day. It was Mr. Daly's seventeenth visit to the hospital for similar symptoms in the last five years.

I saw the Golf Digest cover last night and thought it was a satire bit. I go to Golf Digest and sure enough the cover is legit.

Ain't that the total truth. Maybe the feeding frenzy is based on the guilt trip by the Government Media to try to be "news professionals" but, alas, it is way too late.

If this is true it makes it even more of a mystery why the prosecutor denied a request to subpoena the medical records.

EXACTLY!!!! ...and I want to see the papers he wrote there.
There is a REASON they are being kept hidden.
As someone else has said, it was probably iron toxicity.
Maybe, like Mitch Cumstein. He was out “night putting”?...with the fifteen year old daughter of the Dean.
