I agree with all you said except that I really don’t see much “shocked, SHOCKED” reaction, here or anywhere else.
Well, that was more a caricature of the reaction. I agree that it was more of disappointment. I was disappointed.

I still say I don’t see how our disappointment says “more about us than about him.”
