The female reporter who became the fascist mouthpiece for the Vs in the 1st is now of course a white male
The white kid who joined the Vs in the 1st, well that they of course left him a white male, but the whole Jewish Holocaust thing is absent (we don’t want to offend our Moslem friends do we)
Unfortunately PC has all but ruined Science Fiction. Like all new SciFi with the ridiculous Fighting Female cliché, Once the Wow She’s Really Hot factor (and/or in the case of the new V the Nostalgic factor) wears off, the show becomes unwatchable.
You are aware that the original 83 miniseries is based on a book from 1935 right? And you do realize that there were no space lizards in the 1935 book, right?
If it was a complete copy of the 83 miniseries, it would be boring. So let’s see how they deal with the topic of fascism. Ok?

Some great points.
Even with all the PC nonsense the symbolism of the V's being the "hope and change" crowd is hard to miss. Hollyweird is so inbred with their liberalism they don't even recognize the story for what it represents. The ease with which other wise decent people can be manipulated by evil and how they can come to think they are patriotic defending the evil.
If you're talking about "Can't Happen Here", then I would say the original V series was based *very* loosely on that book.
The V series is fascism imposed by outside forces, a different dynamic from the book, which was a home-grown (Windrip) fascism from within.
The Obama administration is more true to Lewis's book than the V series. And frighteningly so.
And, sadly, there's not a single Doremus Jessup to be found in our media....
