A man claiming to have been Barack Obama’s homosexual lover and another claiming to have Obama’s Kenyan birth certificate say Laguna Niguel attorney Orly Taitz asked them to lie in federal court.
Taitz planned to use the two as witnesses in her effort to prove Obama was born in Kenya and is not a legitimate president. However, the case was dismissed on Oct. 29 by U.S. District Judge David O. Carter without going to trial.
In his dismissal, Carter wrote, “the Court has received several sworn affidavits that Taitz asked potential witnesses that she planned to call before this Court to perjure themselves. This Court is deeply concerned that Taitz may have suborned perjury through witnesses she intended to bring before this Court.”
... in a Nov. 9 motion that criticized Carter’s dismissal of the case, Taitz identifies Larry Sinclair and Lucas Smith as the witnesses she believes filed affidavits saying that she asked them to lie. She denies the accusations and told me she thinks Sinclair and Smith filed the affidavits in response to pressure put on them. Sinclair provided me a copy of the affidavit he said he provided to the court, and said that he mailed a copy to Taitz as well.
Smith claims to have bribed a Kenyan official in February and obtained this document, which he says is Obama’s 1961 Kenyan birth certificate. Among those calling the document a fake is World Net Daily’s Jerome Corsi ...
Among allegations made in the affidavit from Smith is that Taitz asked him to say that he was the one who obtained a document that was alleged to be a 1964 Republic of Kenya Certified Copy of Registration of Birth of Barack Hussein Obama II. That document had been called a forgery by experts and in his affidavit, Smith said his research also concluded that the document was fake.
Smith also said that after he nearly stepped in front of a car driving down the street, Taitz “wanted me to give testimony in the Honorable Judge David O. Carter’s courtroom that there had been an ‘attempt on my life’…”
Taitz told the court that Smith’s life was in danger because the Obama administration did not want the information to get out.
According to Sinclair’s affidavit, Taitz wanted Sinclair to testify in order to bolster the case that lives were in danger and the case should be expedited.
... “Orly Taitz stated, ‘Larry, I want you to testify that three members of Obama’s church were murdered.’ I interrupted Orly Taitz at this time and informed her, ‘Dr. Taitz, I told you when you contacted me in December 2008 you were spreading false claims, there was not three members of Obama’s church murdered.’” Sinclair says in the affidavit.
Sinclair also says that Taitz asked him to identify for the court a birthmark on Obama, which Sinclair said he had not in fact seen.
Taitz said she “absolutely did not” ask Smith to say the 1964 certificate came from him, and “absolutely did not” ask him to say there had been an attempt on his life. She said she talked to Sinclair about other deaths in the church but did not ask him to lie, and denied his other allegations as well.
“There was some kind of pressure on Lawrence Sinclair and Lucas Daniel Smith to stop working with me,” Taitz said.
Pressure from whom?
“I don’t know who,” she said.
Sinclair says the only pressure he felt was from Taitz and her backers.
“I had gone out of my way to not be associated with her in any way, but she continued to try and pull me and my story into her cases,” Sinclair wrote me in an email. “I have not been pressured except by the constant attacks from her and her supporters because I would not make statements that I knew to be false.”
In his affidavit, Smith repeatedly expresses frustration with Taitz’ inability to address the lawsuit effectively.
“… it began to become clearer and clearer to me that Orly Taitz had no understanding of the law,” he said. “I came to an exhaustive conclusion that Orly Taitz may be the ‘Birthers’ worst nightmare. Outside of paying attention to her own voice at length, Orly Taitz has the attention span of a small child….”
“I knew that there was nothing further that I could do to convince Orly Taitz that we should fight this case with truths and documentation rather than her campaign of fighting Obama lies with Orly lies.”

That raises the possibility that one or both of them could have been blackmailed into swearing the affidavits against Taitz.
NSS. That's why you don't bring people like them (or Lawyer Kreep, or disbarred lawyer Lincoln) into a case. Any case. Most especially, a case where their testimony is of little value. Whether or not our putative POTUS is a homosexual who smokes crack has little to do with his Birth Certificate or other documents, which are in Hawaii. Hawaii was scrupulously avoided by this legal team until ordinary citizens there began to demand that the documents be released ...ACCORDING TO HAWAIIAN LAW. The Kenyan BC adventure isn't even worth the bandwidth to discuss.
That means that 18 months of "exotic" lawsuits around the country accomplished three things
(1) Team Obama looks like a winner ... no matter what the facts of each dismissal ... and accomplished their PR goals
(2) Time was wasted when two "deadlines" loom: 2010, and 2012....time that should have been spent in Hawaii and in Washington DC
(3)The legitimacy of the very real questions about Obama's birth ... and those who ask them ... has been damaged.
Team Obama has also accomplished a major objective: They have made "Native Born" = "Natural Born," at least for the time being. In this, they have now been inexplicably supported by the Indiana Court of Appeals in a contrarian interpretation of Wong Kim Ark
Can no one simply stand up and say, "Barack Hussein Obama, Jr. tells us that the man he claims is his father, was not an American citizen? Therefore he, Barack Hussein Obama, Jr. is not a "Natural Born Citizen," as required in Article II of the Constitution of The United States."
Judge Carter, when he wasn't busy condemning Dr. Taitz, at least made clear where this issue should be taken.
Fellow Birthers, Kreep ain't working for our team, and it's now time to retire Orly. Let the actions for a Writ of Quo Warranto go forward in the District Courts of DC.

I don’t really know anything about Kreep other than a FR post that he was filing suits, never heard of him before that. What is unsuitable about him?
For starters, The Kreep believes that if Obama was born in Hawaii, he is a ""Natural Born Citizen."
For finishers, Google the SOB. And by all means, talk to a judge before whom he has appeared.
I like it just fine. Orly has gone as far as she can go now and I have no intention of making excuses for her when she has done terminally stupid or illegal things.
As far as letting the case move to the district - that is a extremely unlikely. What prosecutor and judge is going to take the case? Answer - none.
It is a just and righteous pursuit but I would be shocked if the judcial system would uphold the constitution in this case. I’m not holding my breath for justice to be served when it comes to Dear Leader. He is obviously above the law.
So does Britney Spears. That's hardly a ringing endorsement.

I’m glad to see that I was not the only person who caught on to that. She basically calls the judge out, and stops just short of accusing him of slandering her with his claim in the decision that she asked supporters to contact the judge in support of the case (which is illegal and violates the Cal Rules of Professional Conduct applicable to attorneys). Yet, at least upto a few days ago, right on her website was a plea from Taitz for folks to contact the judge, which provided the courts mailing address and his office phone number!
She outright lied in black and white. She can’t blame that one on anyone but herself. I wonder if she’ll get sanctioned this time around as well, or when her bar card will get yanked?

Somehow this does not seem right to me. Obama found a way for the American people to pay for his lies is what I think.

And yes, the biggest question (IMO) is this:
Can someone BORN with foreign citizenship (via his foreign national father, and admitted by him on his campaign web site)...be considered a Natural Born Citizen of the U.S.?
I believe, there's no doubt that the framers never intended dual (or even tri) nationals at birth to be POTUS eligible (for obvious probable "conflict of interest" reasons).

I don’t give a crap what one court in Indiana said. They are wrong. It’s all about divided loyalties and it is crystal clear, Barry has them, hence the reason natural born for the president and no one else.
