Long story short. I am looking to get a new cordless phone that is bluetooth enabled. This way I can link my cordless phone and my cell phone (i.e. when at home, and without having to do call forward, I can get the cell phone calls on my home phone). I know the Vtech DS6321 is the newest model that I know of that does this, but has one drawback, or is missing one feature that I need.
Call Blocking on the phone.
My current cordless phone has call blocking on it (Panasonic KX-TGA740), but none of the other features that I want.
Does anyone have a blue tooth enabled cordless phone that has call block lists on it ? or can recommend a good one ?
FWIW, my phone company is verizon, and apparently, they no longer offer the feature anymore, unless you already had it as a service (I have it on my actual handset), but they didn't give me any more details then that.
Yes, unless you turn so that people within earshot can see it, you sound crazy.
Over the years I have thrown away (in disgust) more V-Tech equipment than I care to admit. I actively AVOID anything with a VTech brand.
I have now only Panasonic and AT*T phones in use.
so ... didn’t necessarily help you with your pursuit, but ...
I remember when the Bluetooth cel phones first came out and there was an army of crazy people walking around here seemingly raving at themselves. I really got a kick out of the ones who couldn’t talk without waving their arms around. It was like a prolonged Monty Python skit. Now I see people talking to themselves and I don’t think anything about it. I thought about that several months ago when I saw a show on TV about this guy who was in a coma for 19 years or something, and woke up. He was in for a number of big surprises.
Perhaps, I should have mentioned this before, I’m not actually looking for an earpiece, only a bluetooth compatible handset cordless phone.....I already walk around with an ear piece, lol.
I love Bluetooth!!

Wooted this during the last wootoff for $28. Doesnt mention call blocking but wouldn’t that function on your cellphone? Or do cellphones not have call blocking...
Yes and no. I have a family planning feature from the company for my cell phone which lets me block numbers on my cell, but well, its a little weird to explain. There seems to be some kind of “all bets are off”, when call forwarding is on, and its on both of my phones, odd as that may be.
Vtech has all but the call blocking, and thats probably the most important feature for me.
Blue tooth has a range of about 30 feet max. Call forward can follow you anywhere.
:’)
There are several good models out there with a single line, however trying to find a two line bluetooth enabled phone is limited to one Sony model at a reasonable cost without going into corporate models with much higher prices.
Panasonic Model: KX-TH1212B
