Another sign of the incessant creeping in of eurosocialist attitudes here in the United States thanks to Obama, Pelosi & Reid.
where? i’m in manhattan. i’ll look.
Guns and banks don’t really mix very well . . . just sayin’.
What are bank robbers supposed to do now. I mean with those signs posted.....
Maybe criminals and banks do not mix very well. Citizens with concealed carry permits commit less gun crimes than does law enforcement.
So I guess now you can’t use a gun to hold up an HSBC bank anymore ....there was a funny video (can’t remember who did it) where these store owners put up No Guns Allowed signs and then when someone comes in with a gun to hold them up they point to the sign and the robber gets all upset and leaves ...
Where have you been? I have an Ohio CCW permit. The signs are on every school, bank and liquor establishment here, along with the usual government buildings. That's life, especially on private property.
Don't like it? Don't bank at HSBC.
Unless of course you are in the bank at the time it's getting robbed.
Just sayin.
Sorry, I used to be on a first-name basis with some bank security guards. That is the only perspective I intended to bring . . . if one of them saw a gun peeking out of my waistband (and I was a stranger), then the outcome would not be as pretty as people would like to believe when discussing blackboard-theory.
Please see my earlier comment, Rambo.
I carry concealed, legally, and always carry it when I go into my bank.
I just don’t want to take it off, secure it in my car, then go inside...no need to.
Ed
You mean the one that I quoted you on?
No, #9.
Courthouses, banks, libraries, federal buildings, schools, airports......
I don’t mind the no gun signs. Its the no hat or sunglasses signs.
My gun is cool with it when we walk into a bank.
Exactly...
Bucc- Kudos for the CCW permit in Ohio. Bet that lock box in your car gets a work out every time you go to any of those places you described. I’ve Been to Akron Ohio several times for The All- American Soap Box Derby and I have seen the ridiculous no guns allowed signs everywhere. The issue is very much that I don’t like it happening, that is why I posted. It is important to let like minded people know what is going on regarding actions or policies that affect their second amendment rights here. I have seen the no guns allowed signs on government buildings in Ohio and wanted to vomit every time I saw one. It’s not life, it’s called standing up for my rights. I am seriously considering terminating my relationship with HSBC and informing them, as well as everyone I know why I switched banks. If they do not respect my rights as a citizen, how can I have confidence that they will respect my rights as a customer?
Oh really? and what if that gun peeking person was an off duty or undercover cop? How would the whiteboard(21st century term)illustrate that scenario playing out? I guess my widow wouldn’t need that big life insurance policy I have because her wrongful death settlement would dwarf it by comparison.
Yes Ed, It is ridiculous enough that you cannot cary in a post office, without having to lock it up like Fort Knox before you exit your vehicle.
