Well, its so funny, I’ve been listening to all the dental tales today and when i got home from grocery store (finally this evening) I checked the phone and my dentist’s office had called. I’ve been tied up with all the physical therapy and injections that there hasn’t been any time for the dentist.

I do have an eye appointment Monday and I will call the dentist office tomorrow.

Belated Birthday greetings to you

I just received a call regarding my friend Sandy’s condition. It is not good, IMHO.

Sandy has a broken shoulder, broken clavical, broken ribs, punctured lung, broken leg with two steel rods........and the neurosurgeon has not shown up yet, to check on spinal or brain injury.

The staff is forcing her to take walks (without the neurosurgeon’s direction), and no one seems to be washing their hands, when they enter the room and tend to her wounds.

Her husband (who recently had heart by-pass surgery) and the sister (who was diagnosed with pneumonia today) are beside themselves.

The sister hid the BIL’s keys, so he would not drive the hour drive to the hospital today to see his wife, as he is mentally confused.......so a friend took him to the hospital. He is staying at the Ronald McDonald house, right accross the street from the hospital, and they will drive him to the front door when he is ready.

One good thing has come out of the whole situation - I talked to my insurance agent today, and upgraded my automobile insurance (as I urge you ALL to do)......just in case something like this would ever happen to me!

I think that you can get that in bright pink as well I think I saw a lot of it in the Greek Islands about 10 years ago.

Thanks for the thoughts and birthday greetings, had a quiet day went to work. Took cakes into work today, coffee and walnut cake with butter cream icing, light fruit cake and some bought fresh cream doughnuts.

I also made a coffee and walnut cake for home which dad really enjoyed and had 3 slices, here is a photo of it.
