Pa. Mom, Toddler In Stroller Killed By Train

Woman’s two young daughters manage to dart across tracks unharmed

DERRY, Pa. - A woman pushing a stroller across railroad tracks in western Pennsylvania was struck by a train and both she and her 2-year-old son were killed, police said.

The 37-year-old Derry mother and three of her children were returning from a shopping trip early Friday evening, authorities said. They said she was struggling to push the stroller across the tracks when she and her toddler son were hit by a Norfolk Southern train at about 5 p.m. Her two young daughters managed to dart across the tracks and were not injured.

The victims' names have not been released pending notification of relatives.

Darius, in the perfect world, people would be smarter too. Taking your kids across active railroad tracks and putting 2 little kids through what she put her kids though, should be against the law. I think the lady did all of us a favor. She thinned the herd. The weak shall die and strong will prevail. It's probably not what Obama has in mind for us, but it's the way of the wild. Hence the use of the word "tragic" in the original post. There was no joke, humor, sarcasm, amusement, cuteness etc. expressed in my or the original post. I can explain it, but I cannot understand it for you.

Certain laws need to be made. Other laws not. Do you sleep better at night ‘thinking’ you are better than anyone else?? Glad you can. Must drive you crazy that I think people should be tested before being allowed to have children?? Have a great day. lol
