Got it. Since no one’s PROVEN an offense, I can’t have standing to sue someone over something I can’t even demonstrate has actually happened to me.

Partly. Even if you could prove it, your injury would be no different from mine and that of every other citizen and thus you could not demonstrate particularized injury which would be a sine qua non of maintaining the action.
