Fox News anchor and conservative commentator Glenn Beck was taking incoming fire Sunday from both ends of the political spectrum, but especially from Democratic strategist James Carville. "I think he's nuts, OK?," the outspoken Democrat said Sunday on CNN's "State of the Union," "Just out-and-out nuts. And I also think that he's a blatant hypocrite," Carville said. "Here's somebody that sits on his show … weeping about how much he loves America and … and then he's absolutely giddy when his country doesn't get the Olympics. And this is — I'll tell you another thing about Glenn Beck. He wouldn't know the difference between a football, a bat and a hockey court. This guy is not — he's just all — he's just all weeping......"

Hey Carville, mad men like you, are not in a position to make a call on the sanity of sane men like Beck.
He doesn’t have a TV or show show - he has an ice cream stand.
Thank you for setting me straight (so to speak). Having both of those crosses to carry, would be an overwhelming burden indeed.
As to Beck, I do think he is a little crazy. Not way crazy, just a little. IMHO, he appears to be a highly functional bipolar individual. Well, way more than just highly. That's not really a bad thing to say about a strong producer. He has certainly brought home the bacon for the conservative movement. Some shrinks estimate that over 50% of the Fortune 500 CEO’s fit into this category, so it's not a bad rap.
If he can keep from crawling under his desk and rolling up into a fetal position, he's going to win the battle. If he burns out, he will have given it all for a virtuous cause. Being at the point of the spear, it's going to be interesting to see how he does. Personally, I hope he fares well.
“Glenn Beck is nuts” is the official Obama White House party line being parroted by media prostitutes and Carville-type sub-humans.

(Actually, I can take Glenn Beck only in small doses. Sean Hannity is more my speed.)
I sometimes think that Beck will go crazy one day. It just seems to be in his nature. His head will simply explode one day. When it does, I can only hope he won’t take some other people with him.
Other than that, he’s a standup guy!
