I say if they are there let them find us. If they don’t have the technology necessary for extended space travel then they probably don’t have anything we need. The last thing we need to do is find some poor planet somewhere that will stroke the heartstrings of liberals who will want us sending aid to them. We have enough aid seekers right here on Earth.
If ‘they’ want to talk with us, let it be on their dime!
