The newsies are going crazy! We’re getting not one, but TWO, Trader Joe’s in the Kansas City area. It will be interesting to visit them, but they are both far-distant from the shire for food-foraging, unless, of course, they have lembas.

I truly LOVE Trader Joe's!! They have very good prices on some GOOD foods! I'll have to keep a look out before Thanksgiving this year so I can get a good supply of Chocolate Covered Shortbread Stars. They are scrumptious, and invariably, they run out of them a couple of weeks before Christmas. A few years ago, they had White Chocolate Coated Snowflake shaped pretzels. They haven't had the the last couple of years, though.

We have one in our town, about 10 minutes away, and another in Framingham, about 25 minutes East of us.
