I've got an old Remington Model 34 that my aunt gave me. It looks like hell on the outside, but shoots better than every .22 we have here! The kids keep trying to swap and buy it out from under me, but I LIKE it! I did tell SoapGirl that I'd trade her Ruger 10/22, and she thought about it, but wouldn't go for it! :-)

10-22’s are neat, I have a couple , one is all volquartsen’d up and the other is a 10-22 target with the beautiful hammered target barrel.
.....great little rigs, very accurate and reliable !
That mossburg is sweet XGI.....what is the model number on it !

Old .22s cool - I’ve got my Dad’s 1906 Winchester .22 and Savage 1914. The Savage is pretty nice, takedown, tang safety, octagonal barrel, hammerless. The Winchester was definitely his ‘go to’ .22 rifle. He rarely shot .22 LR in it; how much power do you need to put a hole in a piece of paper? was the reason he shot shorts.
