I’ve found places that sell them online. I was kind of looking for a local supplier.

No light bulbs at the Whole Paycheck place, but at least they have methyl-B12.

I just checked Vitacost which is where I get some of my vitamins and supplements and they have them for $1.87 less than the health food store. See Blues Buster lightbulbs. Of course, they are back-ordered 7-14 days but that is not surprising with this early winter grayness.

I've been meaning to put an order together anyway, so if you would like me to order some for you, just let me know and I'll add them to my order.

Oooo...could you order one of those 3-way bulbs for me? I’ll give it a test try.

Former Freeper A. J. Armitage’s hilarious thread from seven years ago ‘50 Reasons Lord of the Rings Sucks’ was added to the TV/Movies topic and came back alive. I added it to the Hobbit Hole topic where it is now the first thread. Enjoy!

Sure! I’ve been looking for local suppliers of full-spectrum lightbulbs, and it’s really quite frustrating. I couldn’t find any.

GE supposedly has a full spectrum light: GE “Reveal”. According to the interwebs, Price Chopper should have them. They only last 1500 hours. I’ll look for them on the next food run.

Guess I should just “man up” and take cod liver oil.

As the official bacon bit in the fruit salad, the proverbial bean in the sauerkraut, the square peg in the swiss cheese...I've been using the best full-spectrum lights I ever saw...they're CFLs.

(runs) (hides)

(Calls out) got my cousin using 'em too!

Good info - I didn’t know those twirly light bulbs were full spectrum. Hope those last longer than ours did; the one we had up didn’t seem to last very long.

I recall having it a couple of times, didn’t think it tasted that bad; ‘course I’m the one that didn’t mind the the Aussie ‘Vegemite’.

I think they’ve got flavored cod liver oil these days.

You have to look for ‘em...they market “soft white” (to me, pee-yaller) twirlies, and they are unaccountably popular.

Additionally, frequent on/off cycles shorten the life.
