Well, I should think so! This is probably the first year since we got here that none of you have tried to talk me out of doing the show. And here we are halfway through the performance run.
I'm just sayin'...
We have no hope that you're going to change.
I think this is the first year you haven’t asked us to talk you out of doing the show...
I’ll offer this... I don’t come to FR as much as I used to. I am though, at my horse forum all the time.
Is there ANY interest in you guys going there for the HH thread? We could make a whole subforum just for Hobbit news and chit chat.
Yeah, I knew the whole “talk Corin out of the show” thing was hopeless this year.
I could sign up for the other forum (unless I already have and forgot about it). I know many, but not all, of us are on Facebook. I understand the reasons why not.
The main thing for me is that we keep in touch.
We’d like that.... I’d just hope to get everyone over there. We could make a forum just for hobbit talk if we wanted.
Facebook is too many mixed groups... And I really just don’t like it.
And FR is... well, FR.
Can I open up a modest gun pron topic?
It just does not feel like HH without gunpron.
I’ll start special editions of gunpron at irregular intervals.
This is a result of my mom’s hospitalization and rehab residency over the past two months. She got hit with a nasty infection, and was in the hospital for about a month. After that, she needed rehab because she lost so much strength and muscle tone. She is in a rehab home right now, getting back up in shape to get along without a wheel chair.
She’s doing much better, and is starting to consider the final stretch to get in shape to head home. Her spirits are good enough to drive the staff and me crazy.
A moderate level of prayers for her healing, and my sanity, are always appreciated.

It sounds like what hobbits do naturally once outside the Shire. In fact, some wander around aimlessly inside the Shire.

Galadriel, Balin, Radagast the Brown, Beorn, Drogo Baggins, Nori, and Bifur casting is now official. This answers the questions:
1) Will we see the White Council? Yes — see Galadriel and Radagast.
2) Will they include Beorn? Yes - see Beorn.
For what its worth, I feel strongly that the HH should not abandon FR. This is because of the dozens and dozens of former Hobbits who might like to come back at this point. If we move out of FR we cut them off. Call me a traditionalist.
Victuals and the Gaffer’s homebrew should bring those stragglers in!
A valid point... One to consider and discuss! though some of those who haven’t been around, aren’t around FR much ~either~.
I’m not around FR much any more... But we could leave a forwarding address for those who come looking.
Perhaps the question could be asked of the entire RING ping list through Freepmail to see if they would be interested in participating here or at the other location.
There are many on the Ring Ping list we don’t even know...
My thinking was the invitation would mostly be forwarded to those HH regulars we know well.
I guess while enrollment in our horse forum is open to the public, it is a community that is rather close and small... I don’t want it overrun.
Not that I think many non-hh ‘outsiders’ would go, I just want to ensure we’re not inundating my carefully managed existing community with those who aren’t friendly and familiar and understanding that their place is in the HH and maybe the politics area, playing by the rules and mood of ~that~ forum, not this one.
We can’t re-create a huge forum over there with the dynamic that exists here. I just am not sure I will come here enough to be as active as we once were. Not sure we can ever re-create what we had here again, whether we stay here or move. It was a perfect storm of people and events and time.
