Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
A velvet rope would work better than what we have now.
Sadly, because its MORE than we have now. But, I liked the cartoon. :)
No bad at all. Apparently there are areas of the great wall that are in need of serious repair still, it has lasted a good long while.
Indeed - our side lost a fine spokesman.
Looks like another round of rain is heading our way, won’t have to water tomorrow.
OMG, I had no idea. I knew him years ago when I was working in DC. Long before the Goracle invented the Interwebz.
Afternoon Corin - you all back from Kaintuck?
Nascar Tonite?
Yep...it just started.
Got back around noon on Saturday. Picked up Sam at thevet. Went to work at thepark.
Church yesterday. Work at park again.
~Almost~ happy to be back in Fangorn...
Just be glad you aren’t in Florida. Our primary is tomorrow, and the nearly all conservative GOP primaries have been full of candidates writing campaign ads for the Dems in the general election.
Especially Lady Hobbits:
LOTR Corset

Jackson is legally ours. Shots, microchipped and city license. He showed his appreciation by spending last night outside catting around, all night long. Oh, well, he is a cat, that’s what they do.

So does Jackson think that he belongs to you? All cats I have ever known think that you belong to them.
While it’s true, he does treat us as “staff” most of the time, he knows where to come to obtain a good meal and protection from the elements. He’s a gentleman in the house, treats the dog well and makes us laugh, so he’s a good cat :)

Sounds a lot like my cat, who ‘adopted’ me last year.
yikes. Coming to an elf near you.
:-)
Peter Jackson on TORN saying he expects news about the films of ‘The Hobbit’ SOON! No definition of how soon that will be.
After all these years, we finally have some hummingbirds! I’ve been noticing a couple around the rose of sharon hedge, so I pulled out the old hummingbird feeder and dang if they aren’t using it. Territorial little buggers, they spend more time chasing each other away from the feeder then eating.
So I pulled out the second one that I put away because it drew wasps and bees something terrible. I read on the ‘net that bees and wasps are attracted to hummingbird feeders that have yellow on them, and the article advised painting the yellow part red. So my yellow petals have now been painted red with Ruby Diamond nail polish. Not sure the stink will be gone tomorrow, I may have to wait til Saturday to see if the ~new and improved~ feeder draws hummingbirds without drawing insects.
