Abosolutely Correct on both counts.
LSA placed the catnip at grazing level for a brief sell and Jackson availed himself of the opportunity.

Hmmm....I’ve got two catnip plants sitting unscreened in my herb bed and I’ve had no takers all summer.

Know what you mean, some of our cats have liked catnip, some of them have not; no particular reason I can think of.
They seem more interested in dried catnip or catnip tea.
