Thanks for keeping us up to date on “The Hobbit”! I really need to go back and read the book, so I can re-acquaint myself with all the characters. It’s been years since I read it.

Evening - well, not much snow melt today. Still brisk though gypsy did get a short walk this morning. Getting ready to dig out the vehicles, she figured she was in line for a walk, well, we concured and she was happy.
The squirrels are plowing a path in the front yard.
Can you get them to clear the driveway and sidewalk?
We shoveled a path to the bird feeders and the squirrels are using it like a freeway. The birdbath water heater is keeping the ice at bay and it appears to be the only open water in our neighborhood. It’s old but sure does work.
It looks like they could hit the sidewalk. It’s slow going, though. They’ve only made about 4 feet from the tree.
We have a little dusting of global warming this morning.

It appears to be a big hit in England, where gangs use “hoodies” to hide their faces from the hundreds of thousands of TV cameras. In the US, it would be instant death outside of New York City. (Or at least, should be.)
Good Afternoon, the mid-teens feel balmy after the last few days, should be in the 20s tomorrow. Havin a heatwave, a tropical heatwave.
In other newz, the winter MVACA show was well attended, bargains were far and few between, but discerning shoppers were rewarded for the acumen.
A fella from northern Iowa drove down and said he and the wife counted 150 plus cars and trucks stuck in the medians and along the shoulders.

Theboyz had a wrestling meet today...they hadda rough day of it... theboy ran into a couple of real buzzsaws... first time he’s wrestled at 85 lbs... he’s put on 5 lbs this season... made me proud though, neither buzzsaw could pin him, he fought so hard till the last whistle... thenewboy has been sick, and he was draggin... and it showed...
thegirl had a basketball tourney... they were eliminated this mornin’...
so I guess we’re just a bunch of losers today.... I can live with that, because they all gave it their best...
My washer is frozen. Hope I didn’t totally kill the motor.
