according to controversial new research that attempts to place an exact date on the start of the ancient construction project. What was really shocking was the tag they found on the other side

Mostly the archaeologist's depended on an inscription that said;
“This pyramid erected 2470 B.C.”

I never believe anything the Egyptians say about the pyramids. Like OBamBam, they always have an angle.

Te Sothic Cycles have been discredited and refuted any number of times. Interesting they would go back to this old saw.

Not likely that it was raining in Egypt in August.
Maybe no work if union contract reads: “No manual labor if temperature exceeds 110ºF before 12:00 PM.”

Not likely that it was raining in Egypt in August. It was a lot wetter in North Africa 4500 years ago.

I think it was Aliens
Can you imagine the manpower it would have taken to cut and haul these stones by hand? And the food to feed them and the housing?
What kind of an economy could support that kind of busywork?
And wouldn’t at least one of them say “why are we moving these big friggin’ rocks into a pile? I have children to feed”

Thanks, You may be right. I’ll do some research on the climate at that Lat and time frame. I think I saw an article in the dim dark past that had quite a bit of info.
The fact remains though that the climate was dry and that
was one of the reasons that the mummies stayed in just great condition. August would be a dry month and then again a TS could have occurred to support your statement of rain.

Well, it was an unusual autumn in 2470 B.C. I believe the high was only 87 degrees F on August 23rd.
