How bout dem cowboys. My, My Jerry world is fantastic. Can’t wait to see the procession when they bury him in the middle of the field. Or will he be entombed in the Gigantitron it self?
Beats me! In fact, they could get rid of a lot of their players and not be missed. Their draft has been horrible and trades not much better.
Guy can spend, bum, beg, borrow, and steal a billion on a stadium -- he oughta think about shelling out a little on a QB who can play the same game Sunday after Sunday, like the pros do...
The look on Jerry’s face when Tynes’ game-winning FG went through the uprights sure was a purdy sight. Great way to break in his new place.
Very good point. Drafting McGee out of TX A&M was not the answer.
You are right about Romo — he is so inconsistent. That interception direct to the Giant player said it all — you would have thought he was a Dallas receiver.
Remind me again why Jones got rid of Owens and kept Romo?
Eli's not often flashy, but he was methodical and cool on that last drive. He had a look on his face the whole time like it was no big deal and he was going to win the game.
And everytime the camera cut to Romo, you could tell he knew Eli was going to win it too.
My favorite part of the game was when the Giants intercepted and ran it in for the TD, then they cut to Jerry Jones picking his nose.
I’ve heard that his will directs that they stuff him after one final facelift and make his box into a sort of wax museum with Jer, Slick Willie, Barry Switzer, and other “greats” watching the ex-Cowboys play ball...
And Newman was so badly beaten by Manningham all night, that when he scored his first touchdown that he juggled the ball, Newman still wasn’t even close enough to him to bat the ball away.
Romo will never win a playoff game...bank on it.
He may never play another playoff game for that matter.
I'm a Texan & Texans fan. I don't like Bud Adams any better than Jones and loved the Texans win over the Titans.
I like the Giants...and Manning brothers.
I wish I could disagree. Giants are my second-favorite NFC East team, and Eli's a consummate pro QB (like Dallas needs throwing the ball).
Even with some defensive problems, Dallas would have been the better team tonight with Romo playing above the baseline of the weird sine wave he follows.
And they count Newman as their best defensive back — what does that tell you?
When was the last time the Cowboys made a stop with the game on the line? I sure can’t recall. How many times do we see them play real well for three quarters, then fall apart in the last five minutes.
lol...saw that too — a picked pass to a picked nose. JJ must’ve known the cameras were checking out his reactions after nearly every big play. It won’t be long until he’s out of that skybox and out pacing and yelling on the sidelines.
Exactly! They cannot stop a team going down the field in the 4th quarter for a long time. Think they need a new training staff and someone to get them in shape.
Did you hear the announcer say the Cowboys line needed the NY timeout to get refreshed — didn’t work.
Simple: If your mates are tired, kick the screen and get a redo so they catch their breath. That screen will be kicked all the time and made part of the playbook for any team visiting Dallas. You can bet the Boys punter already knows when to hit the screen.
“Arent we all watching the Emmys?”
LOL!
I fell asleep for both, just woke up in time to see the GIANTS WIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!
LOL! My daughter is happy, that is all I care about.
“J - E - T - S ! JETS! JETS! JETS!”
Yeah! They kicked NE butt today. A game of halfs as hubby has said!
At the 1976 Pro Bowl, Ray Guy became the first punter to hit the Louisiana Superdome video screen. Officials raised the screen from 90 feet to 200 feet.
