What was the threat?
I had just turned on the match to see the outcome. Poor sportsmanship; whether the line judge was correct or not in the call. WOnder why cbs won’t show a decent replay? How could McEnroe tell from that it defintely was not a foot fault? Serena behaved poorly, and concluded by tossing her racket.
She and plenty others have proved that it isn’t the lack of money that is the cause of their lack of class.
Something with the racket and the judge.
She had earlier broken a racket....another code violation.
Congress should censure the judge. :)

Well, she was called for a foot-fault which didn’t happen, and which lead to a match point.
Now, we don’t know what she said to the line judge, but you can’t curse out line judges, even if they make bizarre, stupid, incorrect calls that put you at match point.
