Earlier I was watching a movie, one of those free on demand thingies Comcast has listed... anyway.
Was watching it and the volume or maybe it was the character dialogue kept getting softer and softer and softer, so I slowly cranked up the volume more and more and more just to hear them. At one point I think the actors were whispering so low, at max volume I could only pic out every third word or so. Disgusted with it, it seemed almost comical so out of frustration I just tossed the remote down and gave up.
Then out of no where the next scene was of course a close up shot of a ferry boat near NYC and the first thing it had to do was lay into the fog horn.
HOLY CRAP!!!!
My Bose 1127 speaker mega monster surround sound super duper theater style set up literally vibrated the windows!
So here I sit trying to figure out how to un-attach my cat from my ceiling and wondering why in GOds name do they do this to movies...
Geeeesh....
No, no. I meant, from the broadcaster’s end. Not the consumer’s end.
