There was a lull after hitting refresh so many times, so I decided to post this article on internet addiction. Not because I am addicted, or that any of my fellow FReepers are addicted...it's for all those other people out there.
I probably hit F5 every 20 seconds to see if a thread is growing or not.
Hitting refresh every two minutes and expecting to find 40 new articles to read and reply to.Pacing. It takes pacing.
As in, spend a few minutes every quarter hour beginning some house-hold oriented task, like cutting the grass (which, has to be done otherwise city code-compliance officers making inspec- ... but that's a story for another day), and, if it's hot, there is a built-in excuse to come in and click refresh after cuting a couple swaths ... couple that with an electic mower (instant start/stop) - dingwah! Perfect solution!
...on a sunday night!
