Personally, I’m excited that the new James Ellroy is supposed to come out this fall. Of course, I’ve been hearing that for like the last three years.
The first book (March Violets) is Berlin circa 1935, the second (Pale Criminal)during the war and the third (German Requim) circa 1946. It's great stuff and available seperately or in one volume.
They were written 1989, 1990 & 1991. Kerr has just published a fourth but I'm waiting for paperback.
