... a fair question although “crappier” is not the appropriate word to compare pre Colombian and Egyptian pyramids to the ones in Greece.

The relatively poor condition of the ones in Greece could be due to many factors— the number of destructive invasions, the climate, etc...I think the climate would have to be the major factor in the higher rate of decomposition of pyramids in Greece.
