"GREEN JOBS NOT JAILS - The Third Wave of Environmentalism"
Video Description - Quote:
eon3 January 19, 2008
Van Jones, Founder/Director of the Ella Baker Center for Human Rights ( http://ellabakercenter.org/ ) talks about his compelling moral vision for California to abandon its 'incarceration economy' for an 'innovation economy' and do an ecolgical U-turn on the four wheels of labor, progressive business, environmentalism and social justice. As he puts it, "a rainbow city in a rainbow state in a rainbow country leading the way to a rainbow planet."

Van Jones has drank so much commie kool aide it is coming out of his pores.
Questions for Van Jones:
1. What are you going to do to get these people to stop doing the things they do that get them incarcerated? It’s not like they get thrown in the pokey by chance.
2. Define a green job. Seriously. What companies will have these green jobs? What will these green workers be doing? What sort of education will these green jobs require? What will you do to make sure these people stick with the education and training such that they get these green jobs instead of getting thrown in the pokey?
3. What will these green jobs cost us? Would these green jobs even exist if it weren’t for massive government subsidies?
4. How will these jobs be better than, say, opening up oil and gas drilling off our coastlines and getting these people into good, hard-working jobs that pay well?
What if Obama pardons all inmates?
