A moderate climate with abundant water is always preferrable when developing a new civilzation.

We got coal and trees to burn, critters to hunt and fish, and a reasonable growing season for raising whiskey, I mean, corn.

And when the next ice age hits you will be dead, while we have that moderate climate....

I think it’s gauche and low-class to eat the stuff out of the tube.

But, if I’m making cookies, you betcha I’m eating some of the dough. Quality control.

Exquisite is the chocolate chip cookie dough step where you can eat lumps of butter covered in egg and two kinds of sugar. Yummy!

The thing about glaciers is, you can out-run them easily.

Have you never watched those movies where the temp drops 60 degrees in an hour? lol You’ll be frozen by the side of the road - a bear popcicle!

Not a fan of the butter-cream icing, I guess then.

Unless you only eat eggs that are cooked hard, you are assuming the same risk (undercooked egg) that a cookie-dough eater does.

And don’t you let your kids lick the batters when you make cake?

I’m getting weird about eating food I don’t prepare too - we are overrun with illegals here and I don’t know what their health habits/situations are....

buttercream icing is fine on a cake, but i wouldn’t sit down with a bowl of it. my friend’s daughter sat under the table and ate a stick of butter when she was a toddler, that’s what it makes me think of and it’s gross!

I’m not talking about eating a stick, just a lump or two of gooey, sugary delightfulness.
