Football season is right around the corner, and two big stories have dominated the run-up to it: The return of Brett Favre and Michael Vick.
Vick, of course, is returning to football after serving a prison sentence for a dog-fighting conviction. Favre is an aging legend destined for the Hall of Fame, so his coming out of retirement (again) would be notable under any circumstances. But his return this year is especially noteworthy because of the team he has chosen to play for. The Minnesota Vikings, of course, are the dreaded and hated arch-enemies of his old team, the Green Bay Packers.

If it would make you two feel better, Green bay can have him back, that is if we can have Rodgers. After all he has yet to grow on them.
Actually, I thought Sage was doing just fine, we could have traded TJ for a mid level round pick and maybe give David Booty a chance to prove himself.
I’m a Steeler fan. Favre could have retired and had a nice legacy. Instead he besoiled himself with his prima donna antics last year, then compounded the problem with treachery this year.
It’s disgraceful.
Green Bay is a cold place to play football. The weather in Minnesota is much warmer.
Especially since they have a dome, but do not be fooled into thinking it is warmer in GB than it is outside in Minnesota.
I think it has something to do with all the hot air coming from the packer fans that makes warmer there.
Hard to say. He was a teenager at that time. He could have matured. We’ll both have to watch and see - and hope ;0)
He better hurry up if he wants her to distract him in December lol.
Favre was playing great for the Jets until he hurt his shoulder. The Jets were 8-3 and had just defeated the undefeated Titans. Then Favre got hurt and he and the Jets unravelled. Favre has plenty left, 2 years ago he was one of the top QB’s in the league and was within 1 game of the Superbowl. He was one of the best QB’s in the league last year until he got hurt.
