Then why does the FEC asked show a line on their forms for that info if it’s not to be reported?..... Sarahpac reported none, nada, zip as shown by the Detailed Summary in #98. Neither does the name McCain, Hatch, Graham, Portland show up in the list of 709 contributors by amount and date.....

Hey I’m stunned that not one politician donated to her Pac. Is that usually the case? With Huckabee’s Pac and Romney’s Pac, any info as to if they received any money from politicians. Like I said, I am not familiar with the way Pac’s work

And sometimes one has to run as a RINO to get elected and then shift to being a Conservative (see Mass).

Softly softly catchy monkey. She needs to walk before she can run. I trust her to use my donation wisely.

I’m not interested in Romney’s or Huckabee’s pacs. They aren’t the topic of discussion and I know nothing about them and don’t intend to go looking. I’m only trying to clear up this assertion that Palin is only paying back two members of the Gang of 14 for their contributions to her pac. I find nothing in the FEC filings they made contributions to Palin.

Anyway I’m out of here for the night. Take care.

They don’t get committee heads if that is your question.

Fair enough, I hope she devotes the next few years to learning the fundamentals of conservatism and learns to fine-tune here message the way Reagan did from '76-'80. If she does this, I will support her wholeheartedly in 2012. In the meantime, we need to focus on the 2010 elections.

Palin supports RINO. Big shame. True conservatives need to rally around Mike Huckabee.

You must really dislike Huckabee to keep connecting his name to attacks on Governor Palin. That is a baffling strategy to be using on freerepublic.

Romney is a lifelong liberal, he was doing democratic fundraising in 1992 and had dropped his republican registration years before that.

...I took flight from Palin many months ago. She is not the default conservative leader of the country... she has to earn it with her actions - and this report ain’t helping.

Thank you for posting this, Falcon28. I fell off the 'Cuda Caravan well before the election. (I am improving, note that I did not say "The 'Cuda Koolaid Caravan")

In briefly looking at the 265 page document filed by SarahPAC, (the one that lists the dispersements) I really must say that, IMHO, Mrs. Palin is being ill served by the PAC treasurer and the people to whom she gives large consulting fees. They have much to answer for.

She really, really needs to surround herself with better people.

They’re all open border advocates that she’s contributed to. No wonder she’s avoiding that issue like the plague until her coffers are full. I guess we know what she and McCain had in common now. For all her messages about Obama care’s downside, she didn’t mention illegal aliens getting the plan. It’s an issue that encompasses too many others, education, healthcare, sovereignty, jobs, and more!

I had some high hopes on her, but it’s apparent she doesn’t have very good political instincts if she’s for amnesty, because the people surely are not. She needs to come out and say what she thinks, NOW.

Nicely said, AuntB. I, too, strongly suspect that her position is in sync with the McQueeg crowd.

A few months ago the gnats were bashing Palin for saying she’d support Conservative Democrats... they trumpeted that nothing is more important than achieving a GOP majority at any cost... even if it means supporting moderate or RINOite GOPers. Sheesh.

Agree and I’d add ‘small town’ also. But that is not all bad as that is close to the common everyday people.

What is really interesting is that I’ve defended Palin against the left as much as anyone.

http://towncriernews.blogspot.com/search?q=sarah+palin

I HOPE I am wrong about her immigration/amnesty positions...but she’s not making it easy with her less than definitive statements and support of the worst of the worst open border politicians of the GOP.
What is sad, is that some of her supporters are willing to blindly follow (no different than the obamabots) her no matter what her positions on the issues are. How anyone has decided who their 2012 candidate will be at this point is beyond me. Instead of urging her to come out with some clarity on the issue, they just attack, insult, ridicule...no different than the left, which is why we’re in this mess. No criticism of Bush was allowed on this issue either for a LONG time, and you can see where it got us.

WE have to question ALL these so called future candidates.

Strange bedfellows the political arena makes. Palin endorses Perry. Perry endorses Giuliani in the presidential primaries. Giuliani is coming to Texas next month for a two day tour to raise money for Perry.

Perry announced yesterday at the Montgomery County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce luncheon in The Woodlands, Tx that the border wall was ‘nonsense’. Here’s a link and click the 43 second video to hear his words.

Thanks, I’ll remember that. Perry is on again/off again...hard to tell where he stands...we don’t need more of that.

Perry is a politician and stands where ever the group he is in front of stands.

I concluded she wasn't a conservative when she started blaming “wall street greed” for the all the economic turmoil - she must have said it a thousand times - like she was reading Democrat talking points. She made little mention of too much gov’t intervention and regulation in the markets.

I agree with you, but remember she was a vice-presidential candidate chosen by McCain. Now that she's her own person, she's free to speak her views.

Her support for "comprehensive immig. reform further confirmed it.

She supports border security first in a follow-up interview with Greta. When you're the running mate, you have to pretty much agree to the top candidate's agenda. This is why I'm glad McCain lost, because his views would have harmed Palin.

I noticed early on that she never had anything to say about immigration issues. It seems evident that it’s not an important issue to her.

Bush made it clear before he was elected that he had little interest in conserving American culture and no interest in controlling illegal immigration. He was beyond indifferent.
