:) Thank you, leilani! My folks have gone through heck but the good news for them is that I am home and here. The other wonderful things is that the friends that they have made here are reaching out to help them with anything that they can think of.
It’s not a great situation, but they have more help and support than I can even describe.
Good also to hear you are being treated at Mass General because that should surely ease your parents' mind quite a bit. They'll fix you up in no time.
How did you know there was a problem to seek medical care in the first place - i.e., what were your symptoms? Was it the numbness?
Well, if you were a righthander & are having to write with your left hand temporarily until the nerves get unpinched, let me be the first to say: welcome to the lefthanders' club! You know what they say, thanks to the bilateral assymetry of the brain, only we lefties are really 'right' in the head, so you may not ever want to go back. ;-)
