"saveliberty" is Hospitalized (Update from saveliberty at #1568)

Hi All,

I just received an e-mail from "saveliberty" advising me she has been hospitalized. The cause as she wrote was:

"I have a significant, but benign tumor near my ear that is pushing against a nerve (which hemorrhaged). It sounds bad but I have excellent care."

It certainly does sound serious to me, even though saveliberty said she was being well cared for. She did want me to let her FRiends here know of her condition. When I get further info, I will post it.

In the mean time, if you could add saveliberty to your prayers, I know she would be comforted by that.

saveliberty is often the Threadmistress, and I am but a poster. So, if you all could perhaps place saveliberty's situation in the proper locations, I would be very grateful. [Or Moderators, if you are reading this.]

I have been trained by the night nurses to get up for my late night and early morning medication.

It is an acute neuroma, yes. We are waiting for the hemorrhaged area to heal before anything more can be done.

When I was driving home, I spotted a license plate that read “I 4GETZ”.

I laughed and said “So do I”.

Quiet day - it rained all day. I called friends to let those know who hadn’t heard; Mom and I played Chinese Checkers and I actually loaded the dishwasher and cleaned up the kitchen and stovetop after dinner, which is progress.

Playing Chinese checkers on a rainy day evoked good memories - cleaning the kitchen, not so much. ; ) I may have to see if I can find our old checkers games for our next rainy day.

I was going to say the exact same thing! I get warm fuzzies when I think of the SnowFlakes....and then get teary when I think of whom we have lost--but those tears are worth it!

I am just checking in during a halftime break. Those nasty Baltimore Ravens are beating our Carolina Panthers 14 to 3. Well at least no one on the sportscast has mentioned government health care. Yet!
