"saveliberty" is Hospitalized (Update from saveliberty at #1568)

Hi All,

I just received an e-mail from "saveliberty" advising me she has been hospitalized. The cause as she wrote was:

"I have a significant, but benign tumor near my ear that is pushing against a nerve (which hemorrhaged). It sounds bad but I have excellent care."

It certainly does sound serious to me, even though saveliberty said she was being well cared for. She did want me to let her FRiends here know of her condition. When I get further info, I will post it.

In the mean time, if you could add saveliberty to your prayers, I know she would be comforted by that.

saveliberty is often the Threadmistress, and I am but a poster. So, if you all could perhaps place saveliberty's situation in the proper locations, I would be very grateful. [Or Moderators, if you are reading this.]

I called back and left a message that I was sorry for Mom’s frustration and asked more questions about allergy testing prior to surgery.

I soooo get your mom's frustration. I know it's not always productive but I know that feeling!

He’s doing well, thank you. His arm, while never will be fully recovered, is much better than it’s been for QUITE a while.

Aha! The long awaited update and I almost missed it. After the winter solstice, I should be back to my normal self. 8) [Not sure if that is good or bad.]

Glad the preparations are getting underway. It will be interesting to see if your food allergies continue after the operation. They most likely will, but one never knows for sure about these things.

Glad to see that in the midst of global warming you are getting a big snow. Kind of like the snow job that Al Gore is trying to pull off, eh?

Remember, stay positive and be as relaxed as you can. We will handle the prayers, you handle the rest and recuperation. [And perhaps your Mom, too?!]

Re: food allergies. I don’t know if I have more - this is all that I have found at this time. If I worried about gaining too much weight, those worries are now gone. LOL

Thank you for your prayers. They really do help. Today is the day of the last set of prayers for the Rosary Novena that I’ve been praying.

I have a story that you might appreciate. I went to our parish to thank our pastor for all that he’s done for us. We had a great talk and somehow got into the discussion of God and whether He appreciates humor. I think that He does.

I suddenly realized that I had a question:

“Is it bad to pray for a parking space?”

Father Peter roared with laughter and shook his head.

Hi Pallidin. saveliberty will no doubt post to you when she is feeling better. However, your prayers were still timely as she has not yet had the surgery to remove the tumor; that is scheduled to occur near the end of this month. She just underwent one of two pre-ops.
