Our priest who owns a lab and a golden retriever will bless pets at any time of the year, although we have an annual blessing in October.

You should see some of the pets that are brought there to be blessed.

One year a kid brought a fish bowl with two goldfish in them. Another brought in a big old bullfrog he had caught and was going to use in a 4-H frog jumpin' contest.

My nephew who is too young for the responsibility of a dog yet brought his stuffed puppy dog toy. The priest did not hesitate in the least and blessed both "barney" and Billy Tyler.

It all depends on how you react to authority figures.

cats have staff.”

You could call it “Death under a Citrus Peal”. It would sell millions.

Yes, some love their pets more than others do.

You are lucky. I paid around $4,000 two years ago for a series of procedures and surgery to rid my chihuahua of a persistent ear infection.

Recently, it turns out he has a collapsed trachea for which I’ve paid around $500. The surgery, which will not cure it [it is not cuable] would be roughly $2,500.

[draws Kimber] Step away from my cats. They’re not for sale at any price. You can buy “love,” but you can’t buy love.

Four grand, not including several more in maintenance.
And a lot more in maintenance for anyone who harms them.

Well that was graphic! ....but its more likely that dog has impacted anal glands than worms.

All dogs have worms, don’t kid yourself, that’s why you deworm them every 6 months or should be. The CDC published a study stating that more than 1 out of 10 pet owners are infected with worms, in fact, the number is very much higher ...

Yes, our cats are priceless aren't they.

My friend was all set to move into another (smaller) apartment in the same complex that she has lived in for the past eighteen years. Since she moved in in 1991 a "no pet" policy was introduced about a year ago. She was led to believe that her two cats would be "grandfathered in" but...no..the management has decided that she cannot take them with her when she moves.

Outcome...she will not move without them.
