Too bad, so sad. Drink Texas wine! Texas has some excellent wines, and vineyards are springing up in all parts of this Great State, since the soil and climate are very similar to some parts of France. Here in my little neck of northeast Texas there are two that I know of, and both have tasting rooms.

And not only that, but here in northeast Texas on Aug. 13th at 4:15 p.m. it’s only 86 degrees! It has to be a record for the coolest Aug. 13th ever. I know I don’t remember it being anything other than upper 90’s to low 100’s in August and I’ve lived here all my life.

Wisconsin makes a lot of wine...see my post above and you can make your own, too!

My favorite local winery is Wollersheim Winery; their ‘Prairie Fume’ is awesome!
