A Gallup poll released Tuesday finds Town Hall protests, labeled “un-american” by Nancy Pelosi and Steny Hoyer, have succeeded in fueling opposition to Health Care Reform put forth by Congressional Democrats.
34% say the sometimes heated protests at sessions held by members of Congress have made them more sympathetic to the protesters’ views; 21% say they are less sympathetic.
Independents by 2-1, 35%-16%, say they are more sympathetic to the protesters now.

By 51%-41%, those surveyed say individuals making “angry attacks” on a health care bill reflected “democracy in action” rather than “abuse of democracy.”

Also, apparently 8% were unsure or undecided. Just wait until the pharmaceutical industry fires off their $150,000,000 ad campaign supporting Husseincare, along with the AARP when they officially jump into bed with Hussein.
I used to be somewhat grateful to the pharmaceutical industry for the medicines they produce that improve our lives. After this 'deal with the devil' they've made, I hope the Republicans will hang them out to dry from now on when the liberals try to destroy them, as they have in the past.
This "deal" of theirs will be their eventual undoing. It will be a beautiful sight when their inevitable knife in the back comes. They were probably promised a few years of strong profits under the new system, which will last long enough until their current executives/management retire. Their shareholders, and us be dammed.

I am going to take the report anything “fishy” as a veiled mob-like threat since Rahm Emanuel is part of the team and he sent that dead fish and it is well known there is the mob saying about sleeping with the fishes. If they can say that Socialist is the new “n” word then we can read into things as well and be highly outraged or whatever, no?
The Democrats need to stop lying, and they need to stop demonizing their opponents. Calling off their thugs would be helpful, too. But it’s going to be very hard for them to backtrack now, particularly after some of the things they’ve said.
There’s a big difference between a private citizen saying whacky things, and officeholders and government officials saying whacky - and vicious - things. The officeholders can do a lot more damage.
And these are the people who used to whine about Joe McCarthy. Now they’re calling people mobs of Nazis.
