A walk down memory lane of some of the more exotic aerodynamic tweaks in F1's past:

Which goes to my point that "Wing-Quest" is killing the sport. The cars are too composed. When you see a car wiggle even the tiniest bit in the corners, it can only mean that something broke or the driver botched the turn.

If they want to make F1 exciting again, limit wings to two (2) in number, both with but single element, and camber and chord both must remain constant across the wing's span.

Plus mandate that front wings must be made of non-frangible materials so the circuit doesn't get showered with carbonfiber needles every time there's contact.

They'll save a ton of money on aerodynamic research and cars will once again have to rely on the adhesion of big, wide, sticky tires, and we'll go back to the good old days when the fastest way through a corner was ... sideways.
