Since 1950, there have been 177 teams in F1, now there are ten teams currently competing. Sports such as F1 grow and shrink over the decades, best to grow when the opportunity beckons. Note that BMW and Porsche both have raced twice before in F1 along with Ford, Honda, Jaguar, Maserati and Toyota once. So size of organization behind the team does not guarantee longevity. With the threat of electric cars (note which F1 cannot embrace racing those until 2040) replacing ICE powered cars, F1 should not turn down qualified teams. Remember Mercedes has diluted its ownership of their current team and left F1 once already after racing for two years in the 1950s. Maybe Mickey should buy Mercedes’ 1/3 and see what happens to Toto’s tune......
LOL!!! 100%
thank God i’ll be dead in 2040
E-cars will destroy the sport as far as I’m concerned. I have no desire to follow any electric racing series of any kind..
