The head of Trackhouse is an interesting guy.
His dad was head of Tesla for a while and is a really wealthy private equity guy. But Marks seems to have his head on straight and has hired some experienced talent to run the team.

The car had me wondering too. Did some checking and found out that it is a Camaro ZL1 test car (similar) owned by Action Express Racing used in driver orientation for the Trackhouse Project 91 Initiative.

Time for a competing series Formula F (FUN) - 1.6 liter any number of cylinders - mechanical forced induction of any kind permissible, but no electric motors to spool up the turbo / supercharger. NO BATTERIES / NO ELECTRIC MOTORS to propel the vehicle. Fuel from an ordinary retail pump in the country where the race is held. Movable aero devices ALLOWED. Active suspension ALLOWED. No minimum weight for the internal combustion motor. Whole car minimum 450 kg. If a driver is injured the constructor loses points or mandatory last place for the season. Replace an engine or transmission constructor loses points and not the driver. Upon of engine constructor loses enough so that if 1 engine lasts the whole season a high liklihood the constructor and driver will be champion. Such cars would drive circles around a Formula One dinosaur car
