He should come to the states and run a few years like Mansell did. I think he’d get a warm reception from the fans. You obviously can’t replace a guy like Justin Wilson, but it would be in the same category.

IIRC He is going to do Road Races like IMSA or Tudor as they call it at the moment.

Yep, just found this in the Article:
The 35-year-old is expected to combine a sportscar drive in the Le Mans-style World Endurance Championship with a media career, rumoured to include the revamped Top Gear.

“IIRC He is going to do Road Races like IMSA or Tudor as they call it at the moment.”
And am I correct, that “Tudor” is the replacement or successor to the “American LeMans series ??”

If he’s waiting until next year to run IMSA, it’ll be the Weathertech Series by then.
But if he were so inclined, I’d like to see what he could do in IndyCar. And as bad as they are, the purses in the IndyCar Series can’t possibly be worse than they are in IMSA...

More correctly, it replaced both ALMS and the Rolex Series after IMSA and Grand Am merged. Next year Weathertech is taking over as the title sponsor, although Tudor will continue as an associate sponsor.

Weber wants Button to join the Porsche Lemans effort. I think his driving style would be perfect for endurance racing.

Thanks for the mention of Sovereign Order, Charlie. This list is certainly an audience I’d like to have be aware of my work. Soooo...I checked and there are some copies of what are called ARCs Advance Reading Copies which are trade paper, same size as hardcovers only paper, close to final, edited but there may be some things in it. And I’d be happy to see members of this list get one (as long as they last)... and, if anyone does, maybe even put a review on Amazon if so inclined. No obligation, however. Let me know.

Good grief what’s up with the “change the Sponsor on an hourly basis” these days ? I know it’s all about $$$ but heck just as soon as they get a name out there and Fans connect to it they change again. It’s a damned full time job to keep current anymore...
I say lets send Him over to hang out with John Force for a while;)

Yeah, it’s sad, really. I’m not only too old and too fat to drive an F1 car these days, but at 5’8” I’m almost too tall.
