i'm surprised they let him drive without a helmet, and why the blurred face?

The Nordschleife is basically a public (toll) road open to anyone (and I mean anyone - I've seen tourist busses and cars towing caravans) at specific times, so it is not legally required to wear a helmet (in a car). Some do, some don't.

The face is blurred probably because they banned cams a few years back after too many people got killed "driving for the camera." If they catch you, you get blacklisted. That goes for the driver, not the car (which in this case should be easy to ID).

I hope you are right. I have nothing against RB or Vettel at all. He is an amazing driver with an unbelievable team. But I would like to see it more competitive.

I know I'd be lobbying for an Autoreset Circuit Breaker vs a Fuse if'n I was pressing that pedal.

And do they simulate the "Feel" of the pedal resistance with a ram or what?

P.S. Still in battle with truck from hell BTW. Now a P1682 Code has come up, Voltage differential on 2 sides of the Ignition Circuit going to ECM. AutoZone says the recommended fix is the Electrical side of Ignition switch. All fine and dandy EXCEPT that was the 1st part I replaced when all this CRANK but NO RUN crap started!

So it STILL won't pass SI because the F'in Check Engine Light is on!!!

Taking Sunday off due to Right big toe swollen 2X normal size and Right knee hurting, ER Doc says it's either Gout or an Infection so now I got a pile-o-meds to take and ordered to stay off My feet. I guess on Monday I'll just walk to the truck on My hands instead...

yup, i want some kind of hard reset AND feedback, and the first time there's a wreck due to e-break failure, i bet it goes byebye

God i hate electric problems...

might sound messed up but, i kinda hope it's an infection cause gout can not only be very painful but as you prolly know doesn't just go away like an infection on meds will, i truly wish you the best of luck

Looks like Sunday may be a VOM kinda day while GF is around to turn switch on/off for Me. At least I got some voltage values to reference from the link.

I’ve had gout many times before and this doesn’t seem to be that but with the Neuropathy I have I have little to no normal feelings in my feet but gout is normally HOT to the touch. I’ll eat the Antibiotics and have some pain pills so I’ll just nut it up and keep pissing into the wind for now.

Well got the SI done, went to get Tags and got the S.O.P. “You still owe last years Taxes” so You can’t get Tags.

Funny because one has to pay the current and past due taxes BEFORE getting Tags. SO HOW THE HELL DID WE GET THE TAGS FOR LAST YEAR??????????

Haas Speeds Forward With Formula One Plans:

NASCAR team co-owner [#4,#10,#14,#41] Gene Haas knows there are those who doubt his ability to field a Formula One team due to the failure of USF1 about five years ago, but that's not keeping him from taking the next step in his pursuit of one. Haas was scheduled to file the next part of his F1 application Feb. 10. He already has paid a $5,000 application fee. "I think they said their final selection would be in March, something like that," Haas said during Charlotte Motor Speedway's annual media tour. "I think we have a shot. I don't think it's a great shot. I think it could go either way." Haas said F1 could decide to grant one team a license or it could elect not to add another organization. Haas said he had met with Bernie Ecclestone, the president and CEO of Formula One Management and Formula One Administration, and admitted Ecclestone was skeptical about his ability to field a team. If Haas' F1 aspirations become reality, the team would be based in the United Stated.
