No good deed goes unpunished.
I didn’t see the movie, but the plot “The New Age of Reason” is more like “The New Age of Fear”. It sure sounds like what we are becoming as a country.
I hope that cop bought you dinner.
How so you may ask? Because when the lawsuits start being filed, who gets sued? The would-be bank robber, or the bank itself?
Not necessarily true. A friend's wife was murdered in 2001 by a guest who called her to his room as she worked as a night clerk at a chain hotel. He tried numerous attorneys, but was told every time that there was nothing he could sue for.
Let’s just say I made a lot of good friends.
I did lose a nice pair of slacks and a sport coat though.
I live in Georgia. Concealed weapons are legal with a permit and in your car without a permit.
I wager that at any given time 35% of the population strolling through Walmart, downtown Atlanta, Starbucks etc are armed.
When you’re at filling station at night, it’s an interesting thing. You can just tell who is armed by the way they look at you.
I would certainly think twice before robbing someone in this state.
its such a shame, that a pro-active american like this is being punished instead of rewarded. I would hire this man as my employee in a second.
In all fairness, the type of Democrat we can all get behind is Senator Jim Webb, from Virginia. His aide got busted with a loaded handgun (in Webb’s luggage) at the security checkpoint in DC a while ago. A hero Marine with way too many loaded handguns laying around and in his luggage is AWESOME.
